First day: Phuket to Natai beach

So the day has come. I was ready to start from Phuket. I would describe my feelings as „excited“. I do like a challenge from time to time.

Soooo let’s go!

The luggage fits into the two bags without problems and the little backpack with my camera gear sits on top. Perfect simple setup.

I go off the main road immediately and follow small empty roads through plantations of rubber or coconuts for kilometre after kilometre. Surprisingly the temperature is really pleasant, I was afraid this would be my biggest problem but I quickly realised in the shade under the trees with a bit of wind provides a wonderful temperature.

After a stop for a coconut cake and a coffee along the coast in an „instagram“ cafe. I crossed the bridge to the mainland and found my first accommodation. A small bungalow with a restaurant next by. What more could I wish for?

The first day was over. I reached Natai Beach, a small swimming and tourist village with clubs and bungalows on the east coast.
