Travel and the beauty of it

I guess a lot of my friends and readers of this journal love to travel, they for sure have the travel bug. I remember my first flights, I was nervous, excited, happy and ready o discover new places. Even now after some years and some miles behind me I still am. Some things have also changed. I don’t like airports that much anymore and from my home town the transfer to a main airport is almost as if you plan a moon landing.

Once in the plane, while taking off it is really this first step away from the daily into the new it’s like casting off the lines of a sailboat just much faster. It’s a good feeling.
